Chelsea board ready to pay €110m for a world-class striker as Giroud’s replacement

As some strikers in Chelsea could be leaving the club in summer transfer window, the board has been linked to sign a world-class striker as possible replacement.

Chelsea are considering improving their attack and have identified 28 years old Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who is valued in the region of €110m as a potential transfer target, according to reports.


The West London club have been heavily linked with some world class players since the past months, as Thomas Tuchel plans to bolster his squad both in the attacking and defending areas. And as a result, European players like Romelu Lukaku, Erling Haaland, Ibrahima Konate, Sergio Aguero, among others has been identified by the London giants.

However, Chelsea in a bid to bolster their attack, have shown interest in 28 years old Mohamed Salah and are reportedly interested in €110m signing of the 29-goals Liverpool forward.

Mohamed Salah has been able to find the back of the net 29 times across all competitions for Liverpool during this campaign.

The Liverpool forward could however be seen in the Stamford Bridge in the next season, given an agreement is reached between the two clubs.
