The Super Eagles failed to held on to their early lead as Algeria came from behind to defeat Nigeria in an international friendly in Oran on Tuesday night, Newspremises reports.
Only four days ago, a B-side of the Desert Warriors held the Super Eagles to a 2-2 draw.
In their second meeting, Terem Moffi gave the Nigerian side a ninth-minute lead, but Manchester City forward, Riyad Mahrez drew Algeria level with a penalty kick goal in the 41st minute.
However, both sides went in level at the break, after Riyad Mahrez converted a penalty before the half-time whistle.
Midfielder Youcef Atal scored in the 61st minute to hand the Desert Foxes the lead and ultimately the win.
This will be the last international matches before the 2022 World Cup.
