George Boateng, the assistant coach for Ghana, predicts that the Black Stars would “play their hearts out” in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
November 20 to December 18 will be the dates for the 2022 World Cup.
The Black Stars had their finest FIFA World Cup performance in South Africa 2010, as they advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to Uruguay 4-2 on penalties on July 2 after the regular game had tied 1-1.
Boateng promised that the Ghanaian football team would perform well at the Mundial in an interview with Joy Sports.
“As a nation, you will see a team in Qatar that will represent Ghana that everybody will be proud watching the national team,” Boateng said.
“The boys will be ready, they will fight, they will compete and there will not be a single game that the boys will go out there and not play their hearts out.”
The Black Stars have qualified for four editions of the FIFA World Cup; in Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022.
They are in Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
