Billy Gilmour is trying everything right to get regular Football in Chelsea. Under Thomas Tuchel,the academy star had hope to get into the first team but the reverse has been the case.
The Chelsea Midfield department has been parked with loads of personalities going forward. With the likes of N’Golo Kante,Matteo Kovacic, Jorginho,Mason Mount and Kai Harvertz,it is always going to be difficult for Billy.
He has always been around the Chelsea’s first team particularly in training. However, something out of the script happened yesterday as he was named part of the Ubder23 squad that got a draw against Leicester City.
The blues fans took to twitter to express their shock as well as displeasure seeing the talented Midfielder in the squad.
Some say it’s embarrassing for him to play for the Under 23 as has already been made part of the first team.
Billy will have to do more in order to upstage the personalities in his department. He is talented, however, Football needs more than talents.
