Crystal Palace forward, Wilfried Zaha has apparently emerged as Chelsea’s target as the West London club are reportedly set to sign him before the closure of the transfer window, Newspremises reports.
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel wants to bolster his offensive lineup ahead of up coming matches. In their Premier League opener against Everton, Tuchel saw his team struggle to generate chances.
The Blues will need to replace Timo Werner immediately because it is believed that he is close to finalizing a move back to RB Leipzig on permanent basis. Chelsea have already lost Romelu Lukaku in this transfer window.
Daily Express reports that, Zaha has suddenly become a possible choice for the Blues. The Ivory Coast international reportedly wants to play Champions League football and has previously attempted to push a transfer away from Palace.
Over the years, Zaha has been the Eagles’ primary offensive threat, but the development of players with talent like Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise may encourage the team to consider bids for the former Manchester United player.
