Courtois Reveals Why He is Dissapointed to Play Against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Former Chelsea Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtious who currently plays for Real Madrid has finally revealed the one thing that his bothering him ahead of their semi-final clash with the Blues.

This is after news emerged that the two teams will be facing each other in semi-finals of Champions League after having beaten their quarter-final rivals.


According to recent news by ESPN FC, Courtois has revealed that he his dissapointed that he won’t meet his Chelsea fans when he return to Stamford Bridge on 5th of May for the second-leg match.

He further added that he has a lot of happy memories for the club despite the fact that he is aware that Chelsea were unhappy with his decision to leave the club.

“I wish there was public[fans] at Stamford Bridge because obviously I have a lot happy memories there. And maybe my departure wasn’t in the best way”, Courtois said.

Chelsea fans had earlier on criticized the star goalkeeper after he quit the club for Real Madrid, after he reportedly revealed that he was looking for a more competitive league.

Chelsea will play against Real Madrid on 28th of April and on 5th of may at Stamford Bridge.
