Cristiano Ronaldo could make a stunning return to La Liga with Real Madrid, just five years after leaving the cub, Newspremises has learnt.
Ronaldo who spent 9 successful seasons at the Spanish side is regarded as one of the club’s greatest ever players.
Despite leaving the La Liga giants five years ago, the Portuguese superstar could make a return to his former stomping ground. As noted by The Mirror, Ronaldo could make an appearance later this year with his Al-Nassr side.
The Saudi Pro League side are being considered for a friendly game against Los Blancos when they officially open the refurbished Santiago Bernabeu.
While Carlo Ancelotti’s men have played their home games at the stadium since the remodelling began, there is still work to be completed.
As noted on the Real Madrid’s website, Ronaldo scored 451 times in 438 games, averaging over a goal a game. He also went on to win the Champions League four times, LaLiga twice, and the Copa del Rey twice while a Madrid player.
He joined the Spanish side from Manchester United in England, before leaving to play for Juventus in Italy.
