Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly set to convince unhappy Man United star to join him at All Nassar

Casemiro seems poised for a significant reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo, as reports suggest the Brazilian midfielder is contemplating leaving Manchester United during the January transfer window.

At 31 years old, Casemiro seeks a new chapter in his career, having experienced limited playing time under Erik ten Hag this season. Sources indicate that Ronaldo’s influence is guiding Casemiro in his decision-making process for his next club.

According to The News, Al Nassr has displayed interest in acquiring Casemiro, with the Saudi Pro League club expressing readiness to allocate a substantial sum, approximately $54.5 million, to secure the services of the decorated five-time UEFA Champions League winner.

Should Casemiro join Al Nassr, he would follow the path of two former Manchester United teammates, Ronaldo and Alex Telles, who made similar moves to Riyadh.

Casemiro and Ronaldo share a strong bond from their tenure at Real Madrid, where they enjoyed multiple triumphs in the UEFA Champions League, amassing four titles together before Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus.

Manchester United open to offers for Casemiro

According to Essentially Sport, Manchester United is open to considering offers for several experienced players during the upcoming January transfer window, and Casemiro is among those on the club’s list for potential departures.

The 31-year-old midfielder finds himself alongside Rafael Varane and Jadon Sancho as individuals the Old Trafford club is open to entertaining offers for during the winter transfer window.

Casemiro’s playing time at Manchester United has been limited, with just 12 appearances across all competitions this season, as manager Erik ten Hag has shown a preference for Scot McTominay over the seasoned Brazilian defender.
