Cristiano Ronaldo to sign seven-year contract with new club until 2030, to receive €200M wages

Cristiano Ronaldo has in the last few weeks been criticized by some football lovers over his recent explosive interview with British broadcaster, Pires Morgan that led to his contract being terminated by Manchester United- and his elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Portugal.

After the tournament Ronaldo confirmed, he doesn’t want to quit football just like that, despite the decline in his performance for both his former club and country, and he has since been link with a move to Europe and Middle East.

Some relief is now on the horizon for the former Real Madrid talisman who has reportedly agreed personal terms to the football’s largest contract up until 2030, including a continuation term as an ambassador for Saudi Arabia in their tournament hosting ambition.

The five-time balloon d’Or winner has allegedly signed with Saudi Arabia’s outlet, Al Nassr, according to reports from Spanish publication Marca, who revealed the details of the contract and claims an official announcement is due soon.

Ronaldo depart Europe for Middle East club

According to report via Sports Mole, Ronaldo wanted to stay in Europe because he wants to continue playing at the top, especially in the Champions League, but that’s no longer the case as European clubs have been snubbing him.

Marca, via Goal, reported that the Saudi Arabian club have confirmed that the agreement is already in place after weeks of denying the reports as false.

It was gathered that the 37-year-old will soon travel Riyadh in a few hours to make it official.

Should the reports be true, the former Manchester United superstar will play in the Saudi league for two and a half terms, earning €200m per season, after which he will take up an ambassadorial role as the face of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 World Cup bid alongside Egypt and Greece.
