Erling Haaland gifts Borussia Dortmund teammates and staff HALF A MILLION POUNDS worth of personalised Rolex and Omega watches as striker bids farewell ahead of Man City transfer

It is no longer news that Brussia Dortmund talented striker, Erling Haaland will leave the club at the end of the season, Newspremises understands.

English giants, Manchester City had however, activated his release clause to land one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.

And Haaland has marked his departure from Dortmund by shelling out half a million pounds on luxury Rolex watches for his teammates and member of the technical staff as a farewell gift.

According to a report via The Sun, UK, the watches were luxury engraved watches which he gave out during the club’s last training session.

It was gathered that Haaland purchased 33 Rolex’s for all the players – worth around £12,730 each.

And then he also bought at least another 20 OMEGA watches for the backroom staff – a piece worth around £4,128 each.

Bidding farewell to supporters, Haaland said in a tweet: “Dear BVB fans, I had unforgettable years at Dortmund.

“Thank you for the great support, you will always have a place in my heart. All the best to you all.”
