Former Chelsea’s Manager Lands Job at Serie A Top Club

Chelsea have had two managers in the recently ended season. Thomas Tuchel took over midseason from Frank Lampard. Lampard got relieved of his duties after failing to meet the club’s demands and expectations.

The Chelsea’s legendary midfielder took over from Maurizio Sarri who had been fired few years ago. According to emerging reports, Maurizio Sarri has officially landed a new managerial position at Serie A top club SS Lazio.


Sarri has been unemployed since the time he was fired by Juventus a year ago. Despite winning the Scuddeto with the Old Lady, Sarri was sacked by Juventus. He has been handed the managerial position at Lazio after Simone Inzaghi left for Intermilan.

Maurizio Sarri is reported to have signed a contract with SS Lazio until June 2024. The Serie A tittle race is expected to be tight next season. This is expected following the appointment of top managers by the top Serie A clubs. Juventus recently appointed Allegri while Intermilan appointed Inzaghi.
