“Give this man a Balon Dor”: Fans make bold Ballon d’Or statement after Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al Nassr’s victory

Fans on social media erupted in celebration following Cristiano Ronaldo’s impressive two-goal performance that propelled Al-Nassr to a commanding 3-0 victory over Al-Akhdoud during their Saudi Pro League clash at home on November 24.

The Knights of Najd took an early lead in the 13th minute courtesy of Sultan Al-Ghannam’s excellent assist to Sami Al-Najei, who confidently scored from close range. Al-Najei nearly netted a second goal nine minutes later, only to be denied by a superb save from Vitor.

Despite Al-Akhdoud posing threats in the initial half, their claim for a penalty in the 28th minute was dismissed after a VAR review revealed an offside in the build-up.

Ronaldo faced a setback with a disallowed goal in the 74th minute due to offside. However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner persisted. Just moments later, in the 79th minute, he unleashed a remarkable strike from a difficult angle, finding the bottom left corner of the net.

Ronaldo continued his spectacular performance, sealing the victory with a sublime 40-yard chip, showcasing his skill and securing all three points for Al-Nassr, according to Beinsports.

The sensational display by Ronaldo prompted a wave of praise from fans on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), with enthusiasts expressing their admiration for his performance.
