Harry Maguire: Footage of England defender pulling off Ronaldinho moves in training spotted

Manchester United and England defender, Harry Maguire was photographed honing his dribbling techniques during Three Lions practice as they ramped up their preparations for the 2022 World Cup.

Due to his poor performances for club and country this year, Maguire has received harsh criticism; but, he intends to put all of that behind him and put on a display in Qatar.

Although the 29-year-old is still the most expensive defender in British sport, he hasn’t lived up to the high price Man United paid to Leicester to sign him.

Although he played a significant role under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his form declined after the Norwegian manager was ousted in November of the previous year. On social media, he was targeted by fans. In addition, his home received a bomb threat.

This season, he started the first two Premier League games under new manager Erik ten Hag, although his performances were appalling. Since that time, he has only had one league start, according to Eurosport.

Maguire turns into prime Ronaldinho

In a video that was shared on Twitter, Maguire could be seen practicing with England while displaying talents that only a quick and supple player like Ronaldinho could do on the field.

But it appeared as though the tall and long-limbed center-back effortlessly executed the roulette spin, confusing Phil Foden.

However, Nick Pope blocked his shot. Since then, the video has gained a lot of attention and has been viewed almost 500,000 times on Twitter.

On Monday, November 21st, when England takes on Iran in their World Cup opener, Maguire and John Stones are anticipated to start.
