Chelsea has been dealt a huge boost ahead of their Tuesday’s clash with Spanish side Real Madrid in the Semifinals of Champions League competition.
The Blues have displayed outstanding performance since Tuchel signed as the club manager and it’s no doubt that they will be heading to Santiago next week with much confidence.
Chelsea has been added another boast with the emergence of recent reports the Real Madrid Midfielder Federico Valverde will miss the much-awaited clash after he reportedly tested positive for Covid-19.
The 22-year-old midfielder who has scored 3 goals in his 12 appearances for Real Madrid this season before suffering a hamstring injury was expected to return to the first game this weekend.
Other Real Madrid players that are in doubt for Tuesday’s clash include Sergio Ramos, Lucas, Eden Hazard, and Ferland Mendy. Chelsea will play as visitors and will therefore need to maximize on scoring as many away goals as possible.
