Nigerian striker, Victor Osihmen has reportedly broken his silence after guiding Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Osimhen scored the only goal that crowned Napoli as champions of Italy after netting the equalizer in the 1-1 draw at Udinese on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old forward’s 22 goals in Serie A proved crucial for Napoli in an outstanding campaign.
“It is an amazing feeling, we have waited so many years for this moment. To be able to deliver the Scudetto to the Neapolitans is something that we will never forget in a hurry and will continue to live in our hearts for the rest of our lives,” Osimhen said to DAZN.
“I’m happy for all Neapolitans… now we’re going to celebrate in front of our own fans and enjoy the moment for life.”
The red-hot striker is on the radar of several clubs with Bayern Munich and PSG leading the race for his signature.
Osimhen is likely to win the golden boot award with five games remaining to end the season.
He is currently on the radar of German giants Bayern Munich and French outfit Paris-Saint Germain.
