“I wish City lose or draw” – Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah wishes Man City ‘bad luck’ ahead of final Premier League games

Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah has sent a cryptic message to Manchester City ahead of the final round of Premier League matches, Newspremises reports.

The Jurnge Klopp side are said to be locked in a dog-fight with Manchester City in the race for the English top-flight with the final day of fixtures set to decide who clinches the Premier League title.

The Reds could keep their historic quadruple chase alive if they must beat Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield and hope the Sky Blues do not win at home to Aston Villa on Sunday in order to annex the Premier League crown before concentrating on the Champions League finals.

“I wish City lose or draw, and we can win the league,” Salah told beIN Sports as quoted by Yahoo Sport.

“We talk to each other [as a team], and everyone is excited. This situation happened two years ago, and they won the league. We are all optimistic, and this is what is in your hands — you must win your match, and then you see what happens.” He ended.

Meanwhile, Newspremises had previously reported that, Salah claimed to be ‘the best in his position’ and insisted that he beats his rivals in the stats.

The Egyptian King has been vital to Liverpool’s success this season, bagging 30 goals and providing 16 assists in all competitions.

The Egyptian has just been named 2022 Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year after another impressive season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
