Jadon Sancho speaks on Man United return after shining for Dortmund in the UCL

Jadon Sancho has recently commented on his upcoming plans following an outstanding display in the Champions League clash on Wednesday night, May 1.

The talented English winger stole the spotlight as Borussia Dortmund triumphed over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their semi-final encounter.

In a report by ESPN, it was highlighted that Sancho made history by becoming the first English player ever to complete 11 successful dribbles in a single Champions League match.

His exceptional performance played a pivotal role in Dortmund’s victory against PSG, with Niclas Fullkrug sealing the win with a crucial goal that has put the German side in a favorable position heading into the second leg in France.

Sancho’s stellar showing comes amid speculation about his future at Manchester United following reported disagreements with Erik ten Hag, adding an air of uncertainty to his footballing journey.

However, speaking on Wednesday night after helping Dortmund beat PSG, the England international maintained that his focus is entirely on the present.

When asked if he will be staying at Dortmund next season or he will return to Old Trafford, Sancho said via Fabrizio Romano:

“I really don’t know. I’m focused on the present right now.”

Sancho sealed a sensational reunion with Dortmund during the January transfer window on loan from United until the end of the season.

His return to the club came after he was frozen out of the Red Devils team by ten Hag following a public spat.

It remains to be seen if the former Manchester City star would be willing to return to Old Trafford in the event ten Hag gets sacked.

The Dutch tactician is equally facing an uncertain future with the Premier League giants following a disastrous run of form and results.
