Jesus not on same level with Haaland –Ferdinand warns Arsenal fans

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinad has warned Arsenal fans to stop comparing Grabiel Jesus with Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland insisting, the two forward are not on the same level, Newspremises reports.

Jesus has made a brilliant start to his Arsenal career since joining in a £45million deal from the Etihad earlier in the summer.

The former Manchester striker scored twice in the Gunners’ 100% start to the Premier League season.

But Ferdinand reminded them that the likes of Erling Haaland are still better than the Brazilian.

The former England international said that Arsenal supporters have a tendency of overhyping players.

“I think that Jesus’s impact has been unreal,” Ferdinand said on FIVE.

“I think that he has been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do.

“When you have got [Erling] Haaland banging in a hat-trick at the weekend and you are going, ‘Oh, Jesus is overshadowing him still’, what are you talking about?”
