Jose Mourinho snubs Messi as he name Ronaldo in his all time XI

Jose Mourinho, the current manager of Roma and with previous stints at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Porto, Manchester United, and Tottenham, recently unveiled his all-time greatest team comprising players he has previously coached. This impressive lineup predominantly features former Chelsea stars, reflecting Mourinho’s successful spells at the London club.

Despite departing the Premier League two years ago following an unsuccessful tenure at Spurs, Mourinho returned to management in Italy with Roma.

His illustrious managerial career boasts three English top-flight titles, two Champions League triumphs, a LaLiga title, four League Cups, and various other significant honours.

Set to be featured on the Obi One Podcast on Monday, December 18, Mourinho revealed his dream team, notably excluding players from Manchester United, Tottenham, or Roma. His selection surprisingly included only three former Real Madrid players.

Among his choices, Mourinho opted for Petr Cech, a Chelsea icon, in the goalkeeper position, overlooking legendary Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas. The defensive line of Mourinho’s 4-3-3 formation consists of former Chelsea players William Gallas, John Terry, and Ricardo Carvalho, omitting renowned defender Sergio Ramos.

Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti secures the right-back spot in Mourinho’s lineup.

In midfield, Mourinho favored a group predominantly composed of Chelsea players, featuring Claude Makelele in the defensive midfield role and Frank Lampard partnering him. Mesut Ozil, despite a tense history with Mourinho during their time at Real Madrid, surprisingly earned a place in the team.

In attack, instead of expected choice Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mourinho selected Didier Drogba, whom he worked with at Inter and Manchester United, as the preferred striker.
