“Justice for Sadio Mane”: Social media reacts to Senegal legend’s statue

Lions of Teranga of Senegal legend, Sadio Mane’s statue has sparked massive reactions amongst the supporters of the player online, Newspremises reports.

Mane’s statue believed to have been designed and built by Senegalese artist, was reportedly spotted in the player’s hometown of Bambali, on Tuesday, November 1.

The player’s Senegalese shirt was used in the sculpture’s design as a nod to one of his AFCON 2021 celebrations.

Mane’s admirers were disappointed since it did not resemble their favorite player from Bayern Munich.

Senegal holds Mane in high regard after he helped the West African country win the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

The 30-year-old forward, who formerly played for Liverpool, transferred to Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window and has since been a key member of the German team.
