Like father, like son: Spaniard wants to see Cristiano Junior play alongside his father

Would football World ever see Cristiano Ronaldo play alongside his first son, Cristiano Junior in a professional match?

Al-Taawounโ€™s Alvaro Medran is one that wants to see that happen.

In an interview before his team’s concluding match against CR7’s Al-Nassr, the Spanish midfielder expressed his wish for the opportunity for the Portuguese icon to team up with Cristiano Junior.

Medran, an admirer of the ex-Manchester United player, envisioned a scenario where the father and son would engage in friendly competition, vying to prove their skills and determining who would take penalty kicks.

Medran describes Ronaldo as the greatest

Amidst the ongoing debate about the ultimate football legend between Ronaldo and Messi, Medran stands resolute in his opinion.

The Al-Taawoun standout firmly believes that Ronaldo holds the title of the greatest player in the history of the sport.

Cristiano vs Cristiano Jr

Medran’s aspiration for the father-son duo to play together might not be as improbable as it seems.

According to a report by Sports Illustrated, Cristiano Jr., aged 13, has recently inked a deal with Al-Nassr.

Prior to this move, he was part of Juventus’ youth squad while his father, an iconic figure at Juventus, also played for Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Now actively engaged in the youth setup of the same club where his father leads the team, Cristiano Junior stands as a potential candidate to join the senior squad alongside his father in the future.

Despite Ronaldo being 38 years old, there are no indications of his desire to ease off his competitive pace anytime soon.
