Lionel Messi in shock move to Premier League club

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for embattled Paris Saint-Germain superstars, Lionel Messi in the summer following the confirmation that the Argentine star will leave Parc des Princes, Newspremises has gathered.

Messi looks to have played his last match for the French club, as he was suspended for two weeks without pay after missing a training session without permission, Per Daily Mail.

The Argentina World Cup winner has been heavily link with a move back to Barcelona but, resign him could be difficult for Barcelona due to La Liga fair play rules.

Chelsea knowing that a deal for Messi may not be possible for Barcelona, having slashed their wage bill by £180 million to meet strict La Liga rules are now planning to make an offer to Messi.

The Blues were previously linked with Messi during the Roman Abramovich era, but Football London claims the club have renewed their interest under new owner Todd Boehly.

The club is having a disastrous season, with the team currently sitting 12th in the Premier League.

Lionel Messi wants to terminate his contract at the Paris Saint-Germain within the next 10 days.

According to Le Parisien, the Argentina World Cup winner is currently very unhappy with the club over the 2-week suspension they handed to him.

Now, the Argentina international wants to leave the club before the end of the season.

Messi and his team are now working to try and see if he can leave Parc des Princes within the next 10 days.

Messi was punished after the unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia. He has been told not to use the club’s facilities during this period.

The initial plan was to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract would expire but has changed now as the forward is considering the option of ending things early and leaving even before the club is crowned Ligue 1 champions.
