American Youtuber iShowspeed forced NFL great Tom Brady to wade into the never-ending football debate of who is better between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The two have dominated football for the last 15 years, competing for every major collective and individual honour before leaving European football.
Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr, while Messi opted to go a different direction, joining American side Inter Miami.
Tom Brady on the GOAT debate
Speed met Brady during Dana White’s Power Slap Event, which brought together a couple of celebrities. The YouTuber chose to pose the football question to the former New England Patriots quarterback, to which he politely declined to pick a side.
“I can’t pick between them two.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion then turned the table to Speed, who obviously picked Ronaldo by doing his trademark Siuu celebration.
Here is the video of that incident:
The 46-year-old has since ventured into football, where he bought a minority stake in Birmingham last year.
Super Bowl LVIII
Brady is expected to attend Super Bowl LVIII when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Patrick Mahomes will be out to lead the former to a third consecutive title.
American R&B singer Usher will be the main act at the halftime show, revealing that he had managed to get 15 minutes, unlike previous performers who are often required to condense their catalogue to 13 minutes.
