Liverpool beat Manchester United to become most popular club in USA

The struggle for fandom in the United States of America has been well covered, and a quick glance at the preseason schedules will show just how significant the market is to the Premier League’s heavyweights.

United has dropped off the top rank after forging such a solid reputation over the 26 years Sir Alex Ferguson was the club’s manager.

Liverpool is currently the most well-liked club in the US, according to a Morning Consult survey.

Sixty-one percent of Premier League supporters claimed to have very or moderately favorable opinions about Liverpool.

The greatest percentage of any Premier League club, one in five adults also agreed with such opinions.

With 60% of Premier League supporters supporting United, United was only slightly behind.

The next three places are rounded out by Manchester City (59%), Chelsea (57%), and Arsenal (54%), with Brighton at the bottom of the list with a 28% figure.

It demonstrates the audible improvement Liverpool has made as seen by their recent Premier League and Champions League triumphs.

Their earnings will undoubtedly increase as a result of their popularity, something the Reds will value.
