Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell, who is better; check out their statistics so far this season

Both English players Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell play for Manchester United and Chelsea, respectively. Fans of opposing teams are constantly debating who is the best modern left-back.

Luke Shaw’s form has improved dramatically since the arrival of Alex Telles at Manchester United, earning him the EPL Player of the Month award and an England call-up.

Shaw has made six more starts in the Premier League this season than Chilwell, for a total of 28. So far this season, he has one goal and five assists, compared to two goals and four assists for Chilwell.

Shaw has made 40 tackles and has been successful on 26 occasions, while Chilwell has attempted 33 tackles and has been successful on 18 occasions. Shaw has 35 clearances, while the latter has four more. As compared to Chilwell, who has won 30 aerial fights, only 5 less than Shaw this season, the latter has 14 headed clearances, a difference of 5.
