Man United vs Liverpool: Ronaldo, Maguire missing as Ten Hag names starting XI for EPL match

Man United manager, Erik ten Hag, has named his side’s starting XI to face Liverpool in today’s Premier League tie at Old Trafford, Newspremises reports.

Ten Hag opted to exclude Cristiano Ronaldo and captain Harry Maguire from his starting XI to face Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The former Ajax coach instead started the likes of Sancho, Rashford and Elanga to lead Man United’s attack line and Varane to pair with Martinez in the centre-back.


The Dutchman released his starting XI in a post via Man United’s official Twitter handle.

Man United’s starting XI: De Gea, Martinez, Fernandes, Rashford, Malacia, Eriksen, Varane, Dalot, Sancho, Elanga, Mctominay.

Substitutes: Heaton, Maguire, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Van de Beek, Garnacho, Martial, Ronaldo
