Messi’s decision on leaving PSG for Barcelona revealed

Paris Saint-Germain superstars, Lionel Messi’s decision on reports recently liking him with a move back to Barcelona has been revealed, Newspremises reports.

Reports had emerged few days ago suggesting that Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a sensational return for Messi with manager, Xavi no secret of his desire to bring the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner back to Spain.

Also, Barcelona president, Juan Laporta, has expressed his desire to have their Argentine hero back at Camp Nou.

And his club, PSG are tabling a new deal before the veteran striker, but football expert, Fabrizio Romano, has provided an update on Messi’s future.

The 35-year-old has a year left on his current contract with PSG, but the League 1 Champions have recently indicated a desire to extend it for at least a further year until 2024.

Romano provided an update on the 35-year-old’s contract situation on Tuesday and he said:

“Leo Messi will not make any decision on his future in the next weeks or months,” Romano said.

“He is] focused on Paris Saint-Germain and then World Cup, [and] nothing will be decided or planned before the World Cup [in November].

“Despite PSG new deal plans and Barca interest, Leo will not proceed before 2023.”
