Mohamed Salah hits Kudus’ celebration after scoring his 150th Premier League goal (Video)

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is the latest player to emulate the trending Mohammed Kudus celebration after scoring his 150th Premier League goal against Newcastle United.

Liverpool returned to the top of the table after their 4-2 win over Eddie Howe’s side on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, West Ham United star, Kudus has set a trend of sitting on the advertising hoardings after scoring with numerous players replicating his ‘iconic’ style.

In a post shared on social media, Salah was seen running to the advertising board to have a sit-down while celebrating his goal against Newcastle at the Anfield Stadium.

It was a replica of Kudus’ trending celebration pose which the Ghanaian international first performed after scoring for the Hammers against the Magpies in the Premier League.

Salah had earlier missed a penalty in the first half but gave the Merseysiders the lead four minutes into the second half after being set up by Darwin Nunez.

Former Real Sociedad striker, Alexander Isak levelled things in the 54th minute before Curtis Jones restored the lead for the home side.

Cody Gakpo then gave Liverpool a two-goal lead, but it was reduced to one by his fellow Dutch international, Sven Botman in the 81st minute.

Salah restored the two-goal lead after making no mistake in converting from the spot in the 86th minute.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are now three points clear of second-placed Aston Villa and five points ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City on the English Premier League table.
