Mount named Chelsea men’s player of the 2020/21 season

Mason Mount has been named Chelsea men’s player of the year for 2020/21 campaign, Newspremises reports.

Chelsea in-form player this season, Mason Mount is one player that has really impressed his coach, since the start of this campaign.


The 22-year-old scored in Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League first leg win over FC Porto after a finishing brilliantly from a pass from Italian midfielder, Jorginho.

He had 17 goal involvements (so far) and countless major performances.

Mount has made 71 appearances for Chelsea this season in all competitions. Mount has 13 goals this season and 10 assists to his name in all competitions for the blues.

Mount has played 31 EPL matches this season and has scored 6 goals with 5 assists. In the 2019/2020 season, Mount played 37 matches in the EPL last season and scored 7 goals with 6 assists to his name. He will be aiming to break his last season’s record before the season ends.

Mount will be hoping to win the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup title with Chelsea. Chelsea are through to the final of the FA Cup after beating Manchester City by 1-0 at Wembley stadium. Chelsea take on Leicester City in their FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea are also through to the semi final of the UEFA Champions League as they will take on Real Madrid which is their first ever meeting in the UEFA Champions League.

Mason Mount will be aiming to move to another level and get his first trophy as a Chelsea player before the season ends.
