Newcastle vs Arsenal: Arteta announces squad for EPL clash

Arsenal’s squad to face Newcastle United in today’s English Premier League, EPL, tie has been revealed.

According to Football London, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has named a 24-man squad to tackle Newcastle at St. James’ Park.

Arsenal head to the game following a 2-1 defeat against Villarreal in the Europa League semi-final first-leg tie last Thursday.

The Gunners are currently in the 11th position on the EPL table with 46 points from 33 games.

Below is Arsenal’s squad against Newcastle;

Goalkeepers: Bernd Leno, Mat Ryan, Runar Runarsson, Dejan Iliev.

Defenders: Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari, Hector Bellerin, Cedric Soares.

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny, Dani Ceballos, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe, Willian, Reiss Nelson.

Strikers: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun.

The kick-off time for Newcastle vs Arsenal is 2 pm.
