‘Neymar is an incredible player’ – Guardiola breaks silence on signing PSG forward

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports making the rounds that he has the intention of signing Paris Saint-Germain forwad, Neymar Junior this summer, Newspremises reports.

The Brizilan star who has been heavily linked with Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea has been called into question with the new PSG sporting director, Luis Campos willing to offload him in the ongoing summer transfer window.

However, in an interview with the UK Sun, Guardiola noted that he admires the Brazilian international but has not plan to sign him to his squad.

“I’m sorry but it’s not true. Their information is not right.

“Neymar is an incredible player and the info I have he’s an incredibly nice guy. But it’s not right.

“Every summer City is going to buy 150 players!”.

Neymar joined the League 1 Champions from Barcelona in a club-record deal believed to worth €222 million (£200.5 million) in August 2017.
