Nigeria’s Moses Simon nets first goal of the season for French Ligue 1 giants in their 2-goal thriller

Super Eagles of Nigeria dazzler, Moses Simon was on action for French Ligue 1 giants Nantes football club on Friday night, and he was able to score his first goal of the season in their 1-1 draw against LOSC Lille football club.

The former Levante football club of Spain star was given a starting role by coach Antoine Kombouare, following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous matches and he was able to impress again.

Moses Simon started in Nantes’ attack alongside Egypt national team star Mostafa Mohamed and the duo were outstanding in the game.


Nigerian Moses Simon broke the deadlock for the home team in the 28th minute after receiving an assist from Andrei Girotto to end the first half 1-0.

The visitors equalized through Brazilian star Ismaily in the 76th minute via an assist from Jonathan David to end the match 1-1.

Moses Simon was superb for Nantes football club throughout the entire duration of the game, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a beautiful goal.

The goal against LOSC Lille football club has now marked Moses Simon’s first goal of the season in the French Ligue 1.
