Nigeria’s Victor Moses undergoes successful surgery after sustaining chilles tendon injury, out of action for 6 months

Former Super Eagles striker, Victor Moses has reportedly undergone a successful in Germany, Newspremises has learnt.

Moses’s club, Spartak Moscow announced on Monday, August 8, that the former Chelsea star sustained injury which will keep him out of action for the next six months.

The former Nigeria international who sustained a chilles tendon injury in the 33rd minute of the Russian Premier League encounter, two weeks ago at the Ekaterinburg Arena was stretched off the pitch on crutches.

The 30-year-old was subsequently replaced by Mikhail Ignatov after he was stretched off the pitch.

“Victor Moses successfully operated on in Germany. Moses’ recovery should take about six months,”reads a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle.

“We wish Victor successful rehabilitation and look forward to his soonest return to the field! ❤️
Before his injury, Moses scored two goals in four league outings for Guille Abascal’s men.
