Ahead of their clash tomorrow, Pep Guardiola has hailed N’Golo Kante and expressed his desire to own the Frenchman.
Chelsea will be hoping to lift their second Champions League trophy while Manchester City are making their first UCL final attempt.
The game which comes as a crucial one for both sides is expected to be a very tough one despite seeing Blues beat the Cityzens twice since Thomas Tuchel arrived 4 months ago.
Pep Guardiola despite seeming so fearless ahead of the game didn’t fail acknowledge the threat having N’Golo Kante in the center of Chelsea’s team means to his men.
Kante was the consecutive man of the match in Chelsea’s two legged tie with Real Madrid as the Spaniards were ushered out of the competition in the semi finals stage.
It’s of course very much likely we will have a superb center-controlling Kante on Saturday night.
Speaking ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola picked out the world cup winner when he was quizzed on which Chelsea star he would wish to have in his squad.
“N’Golo Kante for sure. He is a humble footballer and an incredibly intelligent player,” Pep Guardiola.
“Having him and Kevin de Bruyne would be massive for Manchester City, but Chelsea would never allow that to happen.”
Pep as he also mentioned has indicated the super combo merging Kante with Kevin De Bryune would produce.
But it’s unlikely Chelsea would every give ear to Guardiola’s wish with Tuchel having over time mentioned of his happiness for having Kante in his squad.
Tuchel shared he had been on Kante’s radar for so long while still PSG manager but couldn’t materialize a deal for him cause Chelsea were to adamant to keep him.
