Chelsea players to face Manchester City in the UFEA champions League final tie have reportedly traveled to parto, Newspremises reports.
The Champions League final will be the eighth to be contested by two clubs from the same nation, and the third time two English clubs have done so (after Chelsea v Man Utd 2008 and Liverpool v Tottenham 2019).
This is the third year running a team will play in the Champions League final for the first time (Tottenham in 2019, PSG in 2020, Manchester City in 2021).

Chelsea and Manchester City meet for the fourth time in 2021. City won at the Bridge in January but the Blues have won the last two contests, at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final and at the Etihad a few weeks ago.
Chelsea last won three successive games against City between 2005 and 2009, when we won eight in a row.
European competition, Chelsea and Manchester City’s only previous meetings came in the 1970/71 Cup Winners’ Cup semi-final – Chelsea won both legs 1-0 to progress to the final, where we beat Real Madrid after a replay.

We have played Man City in two previous finals. Our clubs met in the 2018/19 Carabao Cup final, with City prevailing 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw at Wembley. The other was the inaugural Full Members’ Cup in 1985/86 at the old Wembley Stadium which Chelsea won 5-4 thanks to a David Speedie hat-trick and a brace from Colin Lee.
