Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to play for Chelsea when facing Arsenal in reunion with Gunners tattoo on show

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made a sentional return to England with Premier League giants, Chelsea on the transfer deadline line day, Newspremises understands.

The Gabon striker will now be playing for Chelsea this season. He will be facing his former club, Arsenal with the Gunners tattoo on his arm on show.

The former Burossia Dortmund striker arrived London on Thursday evening to seal his transfer to Chelsea.

When asked whether he is looking forward to the challenge at his new club, Aubameyang replies “for sure”. “I’m back,” he adds, before thanking the reporter.

Aubameyang began last season with Arsenal but had to leave in February following a much-publicised falling-out with Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.

He then joined Barcelona midway through the season and scored an impressive 11 goals in 17 matches in La Liga.

Earlier this week, Aubameyang suffered a broken jaw during a terrifying robbery attack at his family home.

The 33-year-old was assaulted in the early hours of Monday, when a gang of four men equipped with firearms and iron bars broke into his home.

Barcelona sources initially said Aubameyang and his wife, were handcuffed during the burglary with their kids also inside the property in Castelldefels, just outside of Barcelona, and did not have serious internal injuries.

But it has latter confirmed that the former Arsenal striker did break his jaw during the break-in and will be out of action for around three weeks.
