Real Madrid keen to signing Harry Kane, after move to land Haaland, Mbappe looks unrealistic

Real Madrid have reportedly keen to singing England forward and Tottenham Hotspur star, Harry Kane, this summer, Newspremises reports.

The Spanish League giants decision to bid for Kane was because their quest to bring either Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe is taking a longer time.

The two youngsters, no doubt, are the hottest attackers in the world at the moment but their clubs will not be ready to part ways with them anytime soon.

However, Real Madrid appear to be preparing for life after Karim Benzema and will make a bid for the Spurs star at the end of this season.

According to the SunSport, quoting SER Deportivos, Kane, 27, contract to the North London club will expire in the summer of 2024 but he might not be able to turn down a chance to play for the La Liga defending champions.

The 27-year-old has scored 27 goals and assisted 16 other goals in all competitions so far this season and he could eventually fill the void Cristiano Ronaldo left if he moves to Spain.

The Englishman has spent his whole career at Tottenham but he might decide to part way with the football clubs, should they fail to win silverware this season.

Tottenham will face Manchester City in the final of the EFL Cup next month – a rare opportunity to end their title drought, yet the speculation over his future will not go away.

Jose Mourinho’s men were knocked out of the the Europa League after a dismal defeat at Dinamo Zagreb and this loss could encourage Kane to seek a move to a team capable of challenging for titles.

Also, ex-Tottenham striker Peter Crouch, doubt the striker’s future at the club after their shock European exit.

“Harry Kane shouldn’t even be playing in this competition. He’s a Champions League player.

“He’s a player who should be there with [Robert] Lewandowski, [Erling] Haaland, [Kylian] Mbappe – he’s up there with those,” Crouch told BT Sport.

Real and Tottenham are not new transferring players between them with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric topping the list of transfers between two clubs.
