Real Madrid superstar David Alaba presents his shirt to President Tinubu of Nigeria in Paris

Real Madrid centre-back, David Alaba on Friday, June 23, presented his shirt to Nigerian president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he met with the former Lagos State governor in Paris, France.

President Tinubu has been in Paris in the past few days, where he is believed to be having a series of meetings toward the development of Nigeria.

Alaba on the other hands was said to be in the French capital on holidays and he was excited to meet President Tinubu despite the fact that he did not play for the Super Eagles.

Alaba was born in Vienna to a Nigerian father and began his career with SV Aspern.

The 31-year-old is Austria’s second youngest player to play for their senior national team, debuting for them in 2009 as a 17-year-old.

David Alaba joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2021 and the veteran defender has won all titles so far at the Santiago Bernabeu in what can be described as a good career.

At Real Madrid, Alaba inherited the number 4 jersey, previously worn by the last captain Sergio Ramos over the past 16 seasons.
