Manchester United star who is currently on loan at Westham United Jesse Lingard is doing great things and is showing outstanding performance at the new club.
According to the Mirror, Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has sent a message to the club’s management concerning Lingard’s performance.
The Englishman says Lingard seems to be settled at the London club and he is settled much quicker which is decent for him in his career.
Rio advises the club to allow Lingard to remain in Westham United and finish his career at the club instead of bringing him back after the end of the loan spell.
As per BT Sport, Rio says United doesn’t fit Jesse Lingard style of play and they look to be well without him in their squad and for Lingard, it is wasting his football career.
Lingard is interested in Westham’s stay and also they are other clubs that are looking for his signature including Leicester City.
However, Manchester United are determined to keep the Englishman to act as a backup for the current attackers.
We will wait to see what will happen at the end of the season as transfers will be officially opened.
