Ronaldo ccould eventually leave Manchester United as Chelsea are reportedly set to offer him a one-year contract

Chelsea were offered the opportunity by Paris Saint-Germain to sign superstar, Neymar Junior before Thursday’s transfer deadline, before the French League 1 gaints made a U-turn on their earlier decision on Wednesday, Newspremises understands.

But, Chelsea manager is keen on bolstering his attacking line and could opt in for another striker as soon as possible.

Report has now emerged suggesting that Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, could possibly join Chelsea on a year deal before Thursday night as Tuchel could replace him with Neymar.

Kaveh Solhekol, a Sky Sports News chief reporter who made this claims today revealed that, the Blues will offer Ronaldo a one-year deal with the option for a further year.

“One source is telling me that there is still a chance something might happen with Chelsea. If they were to take him, they would offer him a one-year deal with the option for another year.

“I’ve been told if that were to happen, Chelsea would pay a transfer fee to Man Utd as well and also that it might help Man Utd from a Financial Fair Play point of view as Chelsea would take Ronaldo’s considerable wages off their books.

“I’m not saying he is going to Chelsea, but the window is open, it’s something we’ve spoken about in the past,” Solhekol said on The Transfer Show.

Meanwhile, this is an opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo to quit Manchester United as the Portugal captain is desperate for Champions League football.
