Saka meets Nigerian musician Wizkid, presents jersey to singer after Arsenal beat Liverpool (Video)

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid met Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka in London after the game against Liverpool on Sunday, Newspremises reports.

The England winger of Nigerian descent scored as the Gunners defeated their title-chasing rivals 3-1 at the Emirates.

Wizkid was at the stadium to watch the Premier League clash while cheering on Saka and his Arsenal teammates.

In a video shared on social media, the Grammy Award winner shared his time with Saka, who gifted the musician a signed Arsenal jersey.

Wizkid is revered on the continent for his pioneering role in the rise of Afrobeat music across the globe. The Ojuelegba coroner has collaborated with some of the biggest music stars in the world, including Beyonce.

Meanwhile, Saka is hoping to help Arsenal end their 20-year wait for the Premier League title after the London outfit closed the gap at the top of the table with a victory over Liverpool.

Last season, Arsenal came close but fell short in the final stretch as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City beat them to the title.

The 2006 UEFA Champions League finalists remain in contention for Europe’s top prize as they face FC Porto in the last 16, as reported by Euro Sport.
