See what Ibrahimovic said after Man Utd knocked out AC Milan from Europa League

In what was another close encounter following a 1-1 draw from the first-leg, United knew they had to travel to Italy and get a win if they were to progress further in Europe.

Despite finishing 1-0 to the Red Devils, fans were left on the edge of their seats after Thursday night’s game reached the break all square at 0-0, and Ibrahimovic has been quick to assess his side’s performance.

Speaking to BT sports Zlatan Ibrahimovic said;

“We played well both legs and created some opportunities to score. Football is like that: if you don’t score, you don’t win if you don’t take your chances, there will be moments when you will come under pressure in the game. In one of these moments, they managed to score. When you make mistakes,you pay for them.”

“We are all disappointed because we played two great games but today we conceded a goal that we should have avoided. You grow up also from situations like this one. Let’s think about the next game now.”
