Super Eagles maintain 31st position in latest FIFA ranking

Super Eagles of Nigeria maintained the same position in the latest monthly ranking released by the World football governing body, Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), Newspremises reports.

The latest men’s ranking was published on FIFA’s official website today (Thursday).

In Africa, the Super Eagles are still in fourth spot behind the Terangha Lions of Senegal, Morocco and Tunisia, who are first, second and third respectively.

There were no changes in the top 10 in the world as Brazil, Belgium, Argentina, France, England, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, and Denmark maintained their spots.

The Super Eagles will be in action on Tuesday, September 27 when they take on the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will face Algeria in a friendly game in billed for Oran after the North African football body confirming it.

There is a possibility they will also face former European champions Portugal in another friendly game.
