Super Eagles winger, Simon ruled out for two weeks with injury

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has sustained an injury which will keep him out of action for two weeks, Newspremises has learnt.

Simon who sustained the injury in the 80th minutes of the French League 1 encounter against Toulouse over the weekend was immediately substituted on account of the injury.

The Nigeria international scored two goals and registered one assist as Nantes defeated Toulouse 3-1 on Sunday, August 29.

After scan carried out on Simon yesterday showed muscle strain, the Super Eagles winger was asked to rest the leg for two weeks.

The former Levante player will now miss two Ligue 1 actions against Strasbourg and champions Paris Saint-Germain.

He started the season on a good note netting two goals and bagging an assist in four league appearances for Antoine Kombouare’s side.

Nantes are 11th on the table with five points from four matches.
