Super Falcons defender, Michelle Alozie was given a rousing welcome following her return to the Texas Children’s Cancer Center on Friday, Newspremises reports.
The Nigerian player became popular on social media due to her impressive performances for the Super Falcons at the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which was hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
Alozie has since become one of the top players at her club, the Houston Dash, in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the US.
The Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center took to their official pages on social media to announce the return of Alozie, sharing pictures and a video, according to the Houston Chronicle.
She was seen donning the Super Falcons jersey as she met with patients and also the staff of the center.
