“Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world”: Antony heaps praises on Ronaldo

Manchester United marquee summer signing, Antony has heaped praises on teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, Newspremises reports.

The Brizilan complete his much-anticipated move to Old Trafford on the summer transfer deadline day for a staggering $94 million.

And the former Ajax winger showed glimpses of why United splashed the cash on him when he scored on his debut for the Red Devils in his side’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal.

He did not have a similar effect in the Europa League as Erik ten Hag’s charges stumbled to a slim one-nil loss to Real Sociedad.

Sharing his thoughts about the experienced forward and Cristiano Ronaldo, Antony admits it is such a pleasure to be working with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, whom he describes as the best in the world.

“I’ve come to help my teammates,” he told Manchester United media in an exclusive interview. “Regardless of age, there’s immense talent in all the players.

“Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world. In just a few days, I’ve learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it.

“I’m sure that we have a strong attack and it’s very promising for the future.”
