“You made the whole locker room sad with your goal”: Tammy Abraham sends huge message to Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen following win over Roma

As AS Roma played Napoli in Serie A on Sunday night, striker Tammy Abraham met with Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, Newspremises reports.

After Osimhen scored the game’s lone goal in the 80th minute, Abraham acknowledged that the home team was dejected.

Osimhen, a former striker for Lille of France, scored his third goal in three games to help the Partenopei win three crucial points in a tightly contested match.

Both Nigerian-born attackers had a brief conversation outside the Stadio Olimpico’s main bowl after the match.

Osimhen and Abraham were photographed interacting as Oma Akatugba, a well-known sports journalist from Nigeria, was also there.

According to what the journalist reported Abraham as saying to Osimhen as per Within Nigeria:

“You made the whole locker room sad with your goal.”

Abraham has a Nigerian father and an English mother.

Why Tammy Abraham ignored Nigeria

Abraham once said that he declined Nigeria in order to seek a global career with England.

The Nigerian-born English player, who became the team’s leading scorer with nine goals, was essential to Jose Mourinho’s Roma squad during the Europa Conference League.

He has proven to be the Giallorossi’s dynamic force, scoring more goals this season than any Englishman in the top leagues in Europe combined.
