“You’re just a f*cking player”: Ajax coach slams Anthony for his Manchester United move

Ajax head coach, Alfred Schreuder has expressed his dissatisfaction with the conduct of Anthony ahead of his move to Premier League giants, Manchester United.

Anthony was excluded from Schreuder’s squad in their last two matches, with the Brazilian star trying to force his move to Old Trafford and refusing to train with his teammates.

Ajax had rejected multiple bids for Antony but had to finally succumb after Manchester United increased their offer to a price that met the valuation of the Dutch giants.

It appears that the new Ajax manager isn’t happy about losing his prized asset while calling out the 22-year-old for his ‘shameful’ conduct.

“I think that’s weird [Antony’s behaviour]. It’s a shame it happened. Personally, I just think it’s bad. I’m angry about it too. That frustrates you as a trainer. Then I think: you’re just a f*cking player,” he told Ziggo Sport via GOAL.

Pressed on whether Ajax could issue Antony with a fine for his actions, Schreuder replied: “Certainly.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United on Tuesday, August 30, confirmed that they have completed the £95.5million signing of the Brazilian winger from Ajax.
