Departing Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale has signed for Los Angeles FC as a free agent, Newspremises has gathered.
Trusted Italian football journalist, Fabrizio Romano who made the disclosure in a tweet on Saturday said, the contract will see Bale stay at the club until June 2023 with an option to extend also included.
The Welsh winger is available after his contract with Real Madrid ended this summer.
Romano tweeted: “Gareth Bale joins Los Angeles FC on a free transfer, here we go! Follows @tombogert scoop – it’s confirmed, Bale leaves European football to try new MLS experience. Agreement in place.
“Contract will be valid until June 2023 – as Bale follows Chiellini at LAFC.”
He added that: “Gareth Bale has already signed main part of paperwork with Los Angeles FC, done deal – contract until June 2023 with an option to extend also included.
“Bale will be announced by #LAFC very soon – Cardiff City & Getafe, never been close to sign Gareth. Now, it’s done.”
