Barcelona strikers Memphis Depay and Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes are having a worthwhile vacation in Ghana after the Dutch duo were captured exhibiting incredible football skills in a kickabout game, Newspremises reports.
Memphis is back in Ghana as part of his customary visits to the West African nation in the summer after a long season with Barcelona and the Dutch national team.
In a viral video posted on Twitter, sighted by Newspremises, Memphis and Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes thrilled the crowd gathered at the Madina School park with some amazing football skills.
The former Manchester United and Olympique Lyon attacker, Spartak Moscow’s Quincy Promes, ex-Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster and Edgar Davids, formerly of Juventus all took part in the kickabout.
The said game was played on the dusty field for Memphis and his friends to have a first-hand experience of playing on a typical turf in Africa, and it appeared they had the time of their lives while showboating on the grassless pitch.
It is worth noting that the game [Memphis XI vs Salisu XI] was completed on the Madina Astroturf.
